The best formats for the email you send after your first call.
Hey sales friends,
In this week’s newsletter I’m sharing the format of the email you send after your initial discovery call.
A lot of AEs think you need to send a bunch of stuff and write a lot. But I think the best format is actually much more simple than that.
Let’s dive in!
Strategy
The people you’re speaking to are busy. So keep the email focused on the following things only:
The top things you learned on the call.
Helpful resources.
The next step.
That’s all you need.
The more text you have the less likely the person is to actually read it.
